We are seeking to appoint a commercially aware and innovative Business Manager who will lead and support all business aspects of the school and be part of our Senior Leadership Team with four other colleagues. You will have effective financial knowledge, be strategic in your approach to financial planning and have strong project management skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking a full part in the shared leadership and management of the school as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Provide high quality strategic leadership and management of the school’s business functions so that the organisation can run smoothly, efficiently and effectively in the delivery of its core aims.
  • Be accountable for all business systems, processes and procedures including those relating to school level finance, information technology and communications, catering, reprographics, premises and health & safety.
  • Launching the leisure and lettings operation at our brand new school site opening in September 2019.
  • Maximising funding opportunities for the school

Mill Chase Academy is a successful, oversubscribed school relocating to a brand new £30million site as part of the regeneration of our town later this year. There will be an additional 3,500 homes in our town along with a brand new town centre.  In September, we will relocate to the heart of the new development and be known as Oakmoor School which will have fantastic facilities including:
