Salary: £30,000.00 - £46,525.00

Full-Time – fixed term contract for one year to cover maternity leave

Located in the heart of Portsmouth, Arundel Court Primary Academy and Nursery is three-form entry and has a vibrant Nursery and Inclusion Centre. The Academy is proud of its values and caring ethos, which encourages and supports all children to achieve their full potential; inclusion is at the heart of all we do. 

Due to the expansion of our Inclusion provision, we are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Class Teacher to work primarily within our inclusion centre.

As a Class Teacher in the Inclusion Centre, you will be responsible for providing teaching and learning that would be considered exemplary across all four areas of need as outlined in the code of practice; ensuring the needs of all pupils are met, enabling pupils to develop and progress in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment that prepares pupils for independence and to achieve their potential.

You will also take responsibility to ensure teaching assistants are aligned to the aims and outcomes of your teaching to ensure an effective and collaborative contribution for the benefit of all pupils.

In this key role, you will work closely with the Head of Inclusion to develop the SEND provision offer creating an environment of continuous development and improvement.

In line with the Trust Values you will make a positive contribution to the strategic aims, values and ethos of Arundel Court Primary Academy and the University of Chichester (Multi) Academy Trust.
