Teaching Assistant - Maternity Cover
32.5 hours per week, (8:30am to 3:30pm daily) 39 weeks per annum
Salary Range Trust Grade 2, Range 3 to 5 £22,737 to £23,500
Pro-rata salary: £17,156 - £17,732
Fixed term until 31st December 2025
Start date 1st January 2025

Closing date: Wednesday 6th November 2024 at 12 noon.
Interview date: Monday 11th November 2024

You will be required to support the development of pupils’ teaching and learning and their
physical and mental wellbeing on a one-to-one or in a small group basis. As part of a team
you will help to encourage and develop independent learning, promoting excellent behaviours
and creating a vibrant, happy and exciting learning environment, enabling our children to
achieve their best.

With a good knowledge and understanding of how to support learning for children and building
effective relationships with children, staff and parents, you will assist in providing a wide range
of activities and learning activities. Ensuring a safe environment, you will prepare and clear
away materials and resources as required. With good interpersonal and communication skills,
you will be organised, flexible and have the presence to inspire confidence and trust so as to
develop and nurture independence. Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
